During the workday yesterday I found extra time to stop by a range and cycle 50 rounds thru the "new" P-3AT.
Once again, as with the first one, this pistol operated well, was accurate, and pleasant to shoot.
A B17 was positioned at 10 and 20 feet. The groups were quite accurate for a micro handgun of this size. No rounds were outside the grey center mass area. Ammo was standard fmj 95 grain range loads.
There were two FTE's while shooting one handed. Another 50/100 rounds will be cycled thru this firearm to verify if it was a limp wrist, the handgun,
or ammo (doubtful).
Double tap, and fast follow up shots are very manageable with this pistol.
My overall impression is good. A .380 round is not the hottest knock down choice. However, the P-3AT is a good combination of caliber, frame size,
cost, and reliability in a self defense tool to stop a lethal threat. Shot placement is of greater concern. Its by far the easiest firearm to CCW. As everyone says, any gun you have on you when needed, is better than the one left in the case, car, safe, etc.
