Today I performed a "Fluff and Buff" to both of our P-3AT's per KTOG users recommendations. Most of the time was spent sanding the feed ramp, slide grooves, hammer interface, and front edge of frame (lightly).
I then used a polish and Dremel tool with cloth tipped fixture to finish the barrel, and feed ramp.
The above service went well, and the end result looks nice. This smooth finishing job will no doubt reduce friction, which was my intention.
Because it will be an every day summer carry firearm, I plan to clean the weapon every few weeks or so. Lint, dirt, sweat, and any number of other foreign materials will enter and accumulate in the "nooks and crannies".
The Kel-Tec Owners group message board has a vast amount of good information and is great resource for all things Kel-Tec
