Self defense, yes but no full metal jacket practice can be found anywhere
Its been this way for awhile.
What you can find is WAY over priced.
Reload equip same way.
Here in the midwest, primers are hard to find.

Range date 5/11/20
No joy today
My wife and I had a range date at Mayday Gun Range our absolute fav place to shoot.
She and I both had failure to feeds with Winchester white box fmj.
I swore off of the cheap surplus stuff for failure to fire issues during our last range visit.
Now, failure to feed with Winchester WB...
I love the .380 bodyguard even with its quirks. Its in my pocket ALL THE TIME...
Carry ammo is SIG VCROWN
I hope to shoot different fmj ammo soon in an attempt to find the right cartridge for my pistol
updates to follow.
I really like the easy of carry and concealment of a small .380 pistol

New Handgun for the spring/summer
yesterday my wife bought a new pocket carry, ungrade from our old tried and true Kel-Tec’s.
Its a S&W, M&P Bodyguard .380

November Range "Date"
The temperature s here have dropped to daytime highs in the mid 40s. That brings extra layers of clothing. I have made the decision to change my every day carry caliber to .40 SW.
I make this change reluctantly. We highly favor the small .380 pocket carry kel-tec's.
However I feel the extra pentration effort needed to stop a lethal threat quickly is more likely with the higher caliber firearm.
My wife and I will have a range session today to practice with her firearm and with the transition pistol in .40
A post range visit report and/or video may be posted here sometime this weekend.
Remember: safety first and ALL human life is precious.

Police Shootings
I back the Blue.
The Police are our friends.
They train and work every day in order to protect and serve the general public.
Do you wonder why there are so many police shootings now?
I don't wonder, I know why.
Its called COMPLIANCE. If you are approached by law inforcement for any reason, and are given a command, just do what your told.....immediately
Once the police have secured the scene, issue, or problem, all will be well and everyone will live to tell about it.
If however, you do not discipline yourself, submit to authority, and comply- (do what is asked of you) - YOU WILL MORE THAN LIKELY GET INJURED OR KILLED.
Its no more complicated than that. Sorry media outlets, end of story.
